Japanese Speaking Product Manager [Game / Up to $6,000]
Oversee execution of product lifecycle: product readiness and landscape research (gaming, IP, technology etc.), competitive analysis, product planning and positioning, roadmap development and product launch (and relevant marketing).
Analyse sales date and develop product strategy documents for Southeast Asia, specifying commercial objectives (sales forecast), technical and language requirements, product positioning and pricing strategy for all SKUs.
Collaborate closely with Japan Business/Development, Production, Marketing, and Sales teams on the development, QA testing and release of products.
Oversee the management of product information and assets, and ensure their timely update and dissemination. This also includes the Product page maintenance on E-store (which extends to e-store exclusive merchandise).
Lead development of promotional items/assets for E-Store and Trade (Retail) partners to enhance brand recall among consumers. This includes working together with our Distribution partners on Trade Marketing strategy and execution across all 5 markets and 3rd Party titles.
Support in Digital and Physical events—in particular, merch production and on-ground management.
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
At least 2-3 year of Product Management experience in any of the following industry:
Gaming industry (Console game, Mobile game, PC game, etc.)
Content industry (Anime, Movies, TVs, Online streaming, Social media platform such as Meta, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
Tech industry (Razer, Asus, Sony, Logitech, Samsung, etc.)
FMCG
Experience of managing multiple schedule and calendars, projects
Proficiency in Japanese to communicate with Japanese counterparts based in Japan HQ (Both speaking and writing)
Able to go overseas business trips (2-3 times / year)
Proficiency in Chinese to communicate with counterparts in Taiwan would be an advantage
