Job Description:
Join our client's team to drive modernization in application development and make a significant impact on how they deliver software. Here's what you'll be doing:
• Lead the Application Development Modernization initiative to accelerate the adoption of modern app delivery practices, such as CI/CD, DevSecOps, and enhanced security testing. This initiative aims to enhance the quality, security, and speed of application delivery in a context where development is largely outsourced.
• Create standardized technical solutions, including reference CI/CD pipelines and reusable scripts for automating common development, security, and operational tasks. These solutions will empower application delivery teams across multiple managed agencies to efficiently embrace modern development practices.
• Develop and provide valuable resources, guides, playbooks, and training materials to equip team members involved in application delivery with the knowledge and skills needed to implement modern app development practices effectively and sustainably.
• Create pipelines and scripts to automate the building, testing, deployment, and release processes.
Requirements:
What we're looking for:
• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• At least 1 year of experience in CI/CD, preferably using Gitlab, for applications developed in Java, .NET, and/or Javascript.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Powershell.
• Familiarity with containerization platforms such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• A focus on results and customer satisfaction with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Advantageous
• Experience with Singapore Government Tech Stack.
• Knowledge of infrastructure provisioning and management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Familiarity with Atlassian BitBucket, Bamboo, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Good understanding of network infrastructure components (e.g., subnets, firewalls, routers) and the Linux operating system.
