Responsibilities
- Design and extend systems that provide our clients and their players with compelling, retentive gameplay driven by well crafted core, economy and metagame systems
- Planning content requirements including scope, theming, costs, trade-offs and risks.
- Competent and familiar with player psychology and motivation
- Work closely with the Head of Gaming and with other disciplines like Account Management and Analytics to provide expert insight, support and all around value
QualificationsSkills
- 3-4+ years of professional game design work experience with a focus on systems and economy design
- Shipped at least 2 commercial games in a game/system design role with a team of 5+ people where you delivered or owned at least one major feature
- Solid system design knowledge and applicable skill
- Excel and Machinations modelling experience
- Some familiarity with content creation economics (art / audio pipeline, etc)
- Shipped or worked on rich crafting and economic systems
Strong communication skills, both writing and voice.
- Some content design experience (light level or quest design)
- Some Experience planning live ops and events for live games
