Engineering - Software (Information & Communication Technology) The Company Join a high-performing Australian based team for a global company leading the cloud monitoring space. You'll work with senior engineers at the top of their game, assist global brands in Fortune 500 to operate robust, resilient, and scalable applications. The role As a principal engineer, you'll independently own projects from inception to delivery, have proficiency in a system level language like Go, C++, C#, Java, or Rust. You'll ideally have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and open source technologies like Kubernetes. You like going deep into the systems you work on, and have a flexible, collaborative working style. About you You have : • Deep knowledge of the relevant technology including Go (C++, C# or Java), cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes. • Strong experience with large-scale distributed systems • Strong understanding of the deployment & configuration management infrastructure. • Experience operating highly available systems in production, knowing where to place instrumentation to get the best understanding of your code’s behaviour in production, and how to debug distributed systems under load. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Customer centric focus The offer • Health Insurance Provided • Generous PTO • Stock Options • Can be a fully remote role • Competitive salary, up to $220k base + super + equity About Me If you're interested in having a conversation about this role, send me an email with your resume, links to your website, Github account or projects you've done that you're proud of.
