Quinticon are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer – React to join the professional services team. As the Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for applying your technical expertise in the design, and implementation of React-based frontend solutions, while also providing mentorship and guidance to a team of developers. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong foundation in frontend development, as well as proven leadership abilities and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities: • Provide leadership to a full-stack engineering team, assisting them with the development of React-based frontend solutions • Assist with the technical design to implementation and deployment of React solutions • Mentor and coach developers, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and technical problem-solving enabling them with the knowledge to autonomously develop react solutions by themselves • Collaborate with teams to define and prioritise project requirements and deliverables • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in frontend development processes, tools, and technologies • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the user interface is intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing • Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the frontend application through thoughtful design and optimisation • Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development, and share knowledge with the team. About you: • Expertise with developing React solutions • Strong experience with coaching and mentoring engineers • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex frontend projects • Strong experience with GraphQL • Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices • Understanding of backend development including Django • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Strong desire to drive great outcomes • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
