Position: Hadoop Technical lead
Location:Bay Area, CA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
RESPONSIBILITIES:
10+ years of overall IT experience and with at least 6+ year of experience in defining, designing and developing Big Data Applications.
Must have hands-on experience in Big Data Technologies i.e. Apache Hadoop, Map Reduce, Hive, PIG, Sqoop, Flume etc.
Knowledge of Hadoop architecture and Hadoop Distributed File System, Hadoop ecosystem.
Proficient in setting up and working with huge Hadoop clusters, cluster monitoring, and maintenance.
Must have hands on experience in modelling in predictive analysis.
Strong technical skills on Spark, HBase, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, Flume, Java, Scala, Pig, Python etc .
Experienced in working with structured or unstructured data sets.
Requirements Gathering, designing and developing scalable big data solutions with Hadoop.
Familiarity with data loading tools like Flume and Sqoop.
Knowledge of workflow/schedulers like Oozie
