The role has been created to manage and develop the delivery of five-star services to our clients and key stakeholders. You will ensure that our clients’ experiences of the Medefer pathway is the best it can be, that service level agreements and individual key performance indicators are set and delivered, and that we learn from feedback and continuously improve how we operate. The successful candidate will thrive on responsibility, assert what needs to be done and by when, and provide leadership to colleagues in the product team and the broader company, and to drive us all to provide the best service possible with the resources available. The successful candidate will need to be capable of leading colleagues through change. There will be new challenges at every turn and success will involve bringing everyone through the changes necessary to radically improve patient care across the service. Key Responsibilities • Defining the company test policy and test strategy across all the testing phases. Setting the direction of what testing standards, procedures and processes should be adhered to. To maintain and mature the test strategy in line with the companies change and maturity capability. • Advising Projects of the test scope needed and guidance on testing best practices. • Completing the test assurance of third-party development deliveries from a testing perspective • Reviewing & contributing to technical designs and requirements from a testing perspective • Facilitating workshops among the test team and kick off calls for the start of testing phases. • Manging triage calls and defects for projects • Escalating to the head of engineering or programme managers about the key risks and issues in achieving the delivery timelines • Monitoring and supporting the team or business to update their test scenarios/scripts daily throughout a testing phase ensuring that the quality criteria has been met before test sign offs. • Hands on test preparation and executions of scenarios and scripts • Environment & Test data management: Define & help build proper QA env set up / Set up a standard definition in creation of test data. • Define the organizational test strategy & implement the STLC process to have proper standardised test, defect management and reporting process across the platform/product. • Define and set up E2E management process in DevOps tools supporting Scaled Agile delivery. • Set up exemplar test KPI dashboards that can be used by our delivery partners; set up consolidated dashboards with platform and enterprise view of QA health. • Document ways of working in confluence • Adopt the organization culture of professionalism, Integrity, Effectiveness and Dynamic that contributes to an internal environment of teamwork and promote a positive brand image and experience to our external stakeholders. • Comply with any specific responsibilities necessary for your role as outlined by your line manager, the talent management or HR team and ensure you keep up to date development in these areas. • Key person to focus on driving change, removing impediments, and putting the team first as an enabler. • Should be a supportive and knowledgeable leader to help people grow in test knowledge and possess excellent communication skills to communicate the technical specification in functional terms to the business. • Should have passion for continuous improvement and taking ownership. • Responsible for leading onshore and offshore test teams for Integration, system regression and acceptance testing with platform and integration software. • Experience and knowledge of data governance with strong understanding of data dependencies • Working in partnership with key teams to help deliver exceptional value to our clients and wider business, enabling better decision-making as well as supporting the delivery of strategy and performance. • Identify gaps in QA function and work with engineering lead and business systems to build a strategy to fill them. • As a QA lead take ownership of QA activities, oversee, define strategy, participate, and evolve the QA process. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES: • A love of healthcare and a genuine interest in technology. • Certified ISTQB Basic / Advanced • Experience of managing technical SDET’s and senior QA engineers • Should have worked on Agile software development best-practice methodologies and CI/CD practices. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Significant experience working in an Analyst/Data Analytics role, which has entailed producing high level summaries for senior stakeholders. • Extreme customer-centricity. • Advanced Excel and research skills with proficiency in reporting and forecasting. • Experience specifying and building new dashboards and reports. • Exposure to working as part of a multi-disciplinary cross-functional team. • Impeccable written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate highly complex information where barriers to understanding exist. • Excellent time management, planning and prioritising skills. • Demonstrable experience of being able to work under pressure. • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written • Adaptable, flexible and an ability to multi-task • Positively contributes to change initiatives. • Excellent teamworking skills, supportive of others and confident in sharing knowledge willingly. • Innovative and imaginative, a creative thinker, able to consider existing situations and problems to deliver innovative solutions. • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to identify and understand customer needs and strives to provide the best possible service, focuses on outcomes. • Resilient with an excellent work ethic, committed to working hard towards defined goals and to achieve agreed objectives, enthusiastic. • Excellent attention to detail, able to process detailed information effectively, consistently and accurately. • Commercially aware with an ability to understand commercial initiatives and decisions, understands pressures and the demands on others. • Confident in influencing and persuading others by ensuring an understanding of stakeholder needs and able to present sound and well-reasoned arguments.
