This organisation has a common goal of making a meaningful impact on everyone. The Integration Data Architect will report to the Director of Enterprise IT and will assist in ensuring that integration and data initiatives are designed, architected and implemented whilst adhering to the companies best practices. Responsibilities of the Integration Data Architect:Run feasibility studies and make recommendations for technology and vendor selection related to integration platforms and data architectureLead cross-functional integration and data designsExpertise in Data Integration architectures, such as service oriented architectures, APIs, event-driven architectures / event hub / event grid, batch data integration, ETL, data lakes, data mesh, data warehousing, data management etc.Drive adoption of data orientated technology best-practice principles and solutions across the group - Taking responsibility for the implementation of underpinning integration technology platforms.Create a set of evolving reference data architectures for individual companiesContribute to the establishment of a list of preferred vendors to implement the reference architectures.Lead the companies adoption of BI and Data Science initiatives with practical experience of utilising Integration, Data and BI tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Integration Services and Power BI to achieve real-world resultsMust have's for the Integration Data Architect 5 - 15 years overall commercial experience ideally 3-5 years+ experience in Integration and data architecture and integrationExperience of data storage technologies such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure SQL DW, PostgreSQL, RedisCache, Azure Data Lake Experience in design of data movement (ETL) technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Kafka, LogicAppsExperience of industry standards such as SOA, EAI, BPI and API using API Gateway, iPaaS and ESB technologies Mulesoft, Tibco, Informatica, Workato, Apigee.Experience in data visualization using technologies such as PowerBI, TableauExperience of a delivery-orientated Technology environment using agile methodologies and tooling, such as Azure DevOpsOntop of the technical skills necessary for an Integration Data Architect, there are some professional attributes that you will ideally have also such as operational expertise doing the relevent tasks within a global company, naturally entrepreneurial with a can-do approach, and a commercial, analytical and strategic mindset.
