We are currently seeking a Cloud architect in Canada.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and build cloud solutions suitable to host modern or legacy applications, data warehouses etc. .
• Work with cloud architects to plan and implement solutions that meet security and compliance requirements including the security posture, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, performing threat modeling, and implementing threat protection.
• Experience deploying and administering infrastructure and applications in a cloud environment via Terraform/IaC
• Keep cloud environment, infrastructure, policies and procedures up to date and ensure they meet the operations and security needs of the company.
• As an SME, lead the discussions, due diligence sessions about cloud strategy cloud adoption, modernization, migration etc.
• Guide and mentor fellow team members.
Minimum Requirements:
• 3+ Years with Azure Administration
• 3+ Years experience in script automation and innovative solutions.
• 3+ Years experience deploying and administering infrastructure and applications in a cloud environment via Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• 3+ Years expertise in various cloud services, such as Infrastructure, AAD, Storage, Platform, Security, etc.
Nice to Have:
• Azure DevOps
• Must have problem solving ability to provide solutions to complex and new business problems.
• Generate innovative ideas and apply them in implementing solutions.
• Must be flexible and adaptable towards changing organizational needs.
• Fair Communication and inter-personal skills.
• Good understanding of industry best practices, processes, and procedures.
