asobbi are pleased to be working with a leading IT Managed Service Provider with a large portfolio of services across Cloud, Data and HPC. Our client is looking for a Network Manager to join their team. The Network Manager is responsible for the management of the team workload, projects and resources, prioritisation of tasks, as well as planning and managing projects, providing guidance and advice to the business and its customers as required in line with company and best practices. Position: Network Manager Location: Hybrid role, can be based from the Glasgow, London or Manchester offices. Responsibilities: Network Management: • Oversee the management of the entire network, including teams, assets, and infrastructure. • Ensure the network operates efficiently with 100% uptime. Strategic Planning: • Take charge of the strategic planning for the network, aligning it with company objectives. Project Planning and Management: • Plan and execute projects related to network management. • Provide guidance and advice to the business and customers, adhering to industry best practices. Leadership and Team Management: • Lead and inspire the network team, fostering a shared vision for the future. Customer Focus: • Maintain a strong focus on customer service and delivery, engaging with empathy. Stakeholder Collaboration: • Collaborate with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to drive success. Technical Expertise: • Utilize your experience as a Networking Engineer, with a particular emphasis on relevant technologies. Organizational and Time Management: • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and excellent time management capabilities. Service Management Principles: • Apply a good understanding of service management principles. Operational Design Concepts: • Possess a good understanding of operational design concepts, including business process mapping and system integration. Qualifications: • Relevant experience in a leadership role, showcasing the ability to inspire and lead teams. • Experience in Networking Engineering, with a focus on relevant technologies. • Strong customer service orientation and delivery focus. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Familiarity with service management principles. • Understanding of operational design concepts, including business process mapping and system integration
