A fantastic opportunity at nbn, as a Network Engineer, reporting to the Technical Support Team Leader and being apart of the Field Operations Control Tower Team.
A bit about your role
The Network Engineer will operate within a multi-technology technical team to deliver on-the-day performance and a Right First Time outcome to meet the volume of service activations in line with the corporate annual operating plan and to deliver a great customer experience through work completed and delivered on orders across all nbn technologies covering FTTX and HFC.
The Network Engineer will be responsible for ensuring on-the-day nbn activation processes across all nbn products covering FTTX and HFC technologies are timely managed and achieved on the day leading to completion success required to drive performance to agreed operational level and SLA’s with a focus on first call resolution.
This role will be on point to support the Field Workforce to accurately diagnose and proficiently troubleshoot Activation Work and Customer Orders to completion at first visit and ensure all on-the-day impacted activation failures are in a terminal status with outcomes accurately reflected in all relevant systems.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will have experience in service activations within a telecommunications or technical arena and to be successful in this position you will have been part of a Service Delivery environment. You will have experience in service design, configuration and activation product delivery including development of processes as well as activation and testing of ethernet services. As well as experience in configuration of customer services on multi-vendor networks, diagnostics, troubleshooting and testing of activation failures and issues and the use of automated workflows in a service delivery environment.
