Our client is a fast paced Fintech who are transforming the way that businesses and banks work together. We've created a cloud hosted platform through which information and services are shared. For businesses, they provide integrated financial management, including forecasting and risk management with automated hedging. For banks, they enable them to provide the best suited products to clients, supported with real-time information. The platform is an eco-system that brings businesses and banks together.
They require an experienced .NET Backend Mid level developer to join the team delivering a highly scalable and distributed microservice solution. As well as being proficient in C# .NET, the candidate will have experience experience in implementing Event Sourcing and CQRS patterns for business-critical solutions.
Responsibilities
▪ Design, develop, and maintain high-quality microservices using C# and .NET technologies
▪ Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that follows best practices and design patterns
▪ Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of software engineering best practices
▪ Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the software development industry
Skills;
▪ 5+ years' experience in C#, .NET 5+ and microservices architecture
▪ Strong experience using Microsoft Azure, including many of the following services: Azure SQL, Azure Redis, Azure Service Bus, Azure Container technologies, Azure Storage, Azure AD, Azure SignalR
▪ Hands-on experience with Identity Access Management (IAM) solutions and Oauth
▪ Strong understanding of security and data protection practices
▪ Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
▪ Strong experience in DevOps practices such as continuous integration, deployment, and delivery
▪ Financial services and/or financial accounting experience
▪ Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
▪ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
▪ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
This role is hybrid (2 days p/w) in their office in London. They can also consider candidates who are happy to do maybe 1 day per week in the office.
