Why join us? • Medical, dental, vision coverage • 401k with 6% match • Generous PTO & sick leave • Flexible Spending Accounts and wellness programs. • Tuition reimbursement programs. • Onsite gym and wellness center. • Annual performance bonus • Profit sharing Job Details As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be responsible for • Developing and maintaining high-quality software products supporting the organization’s standards and infrastructure, using Java and related technologies. • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. • Designing robust, scalable, secure, and globalized features. • Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. • Working with outside data sources and APIs. • Troubleshooting software and debugging application codes. • Monitoring the performance of live apps and work on optimizing them at the code level. • Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs. • Contributing to team meetings and proposing solutions to enhance the existing infrastructure. Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development. • Proficiency in Java, Javascript, Angular, DB2, Oracle, SQL, RESTful APIs, Spring Framework, Agile methodologies, and Microservices. • Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing. • A thorough understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or similar technologies. • Excellent debugging and optimization skills. • A deep understanding of object-oriented programming and experience with procedural programming. • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others, both verbally and in writing. • A keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic.
