Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Identify the interfaces between hardware and software, and determine the overall software characteristics
Technical Design And Development
• Collaborate with systems engineers and architects to establish IT standards for the business
• Translate client requirements into technical designs for large-scale IT solutions
• Write software code using programming, scripting, and/or database languages
Business Process Modeling
• Model key business processes and critical paths
• Assess the impact of technology on business processes
Software Testing And Maintenance
• Support software testing, deployment, and maintenance activities
• Correct programming errors, respond to scope changes, and enhance software functionality
• Keep thorough documentation of systems development and revisions
Leadership And Mentoring
• Coach and review the work of junior-level professionals
