About the roleWe are on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated Senior Java Developer to join our growing Business Solutions team in Sydney . This role is a full-time permanent position. Reporting to the Executive General Manager - Technology, you will be responsible for the design and development of PICA-owned business applications in consultation with the Business Solutions team that will contribute to and support the PICA Group technology strategy. What you’ll be doingDesign and develop scalable and reliable microservices using Java and Springboot.Develop and deploy microservices in a cloud-native environment using AWS. Design, develop and integrate with REST APIs.Develop and maintain automated test suite for written code.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions. About youIdeally you will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar all-rounder role with development experience in Java in the strata or property industry, but if not, the right attitude and willingness to learn and grow will set you apart from the rest!You have experience in software design principles and ability to raise ideas and improvements with a plan to back them can collaborate with others knowing that relationships matter .
