Role Description
This is a contract hybrid Test Lead role, which will be located in Toronto, ON offering some flexibility for remote work. The Test Lead will be responsible for Test Management, Test Execution, Testing, Test Strategy, Quality Assurance and being the point of contact for all testing activities within the project. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of testers to ensure all quality goals are met. They will also be responsible for developing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and other testing documentation as needed by the project.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Test Lead or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies and tools, including Test Management, Test Execution, Testing, Test Strategy, and Quality Assurance
• Experience leading a team and providing mentorship and guidance to team members
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Experience creating test plans, test cases and test scripts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA are considered an asset
specific in Wired Transfer modernization – Canadian banking domain experience is mandatory
