Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a Frontend Developer located in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for some remote work. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for creating and implementing responsive web designs, developing and maintaining software, collaborating with the Back-End developer, and contributing to front-end architecture design.
Qualifications
• Front-End Development and Web Development skills
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular
• Experience with Back-End Web Development concepts such as APIs
• Responsive Web Design experience
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development best practices
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
Nice to have
• Startup experience
• Experience using Ruby on Rails
• Experience using StimulusJS
Interview Process
• 60min interview to go over previous experience
• 3 months paid contract to see if there's a mutual fit
• Full-time offer at the end of the 3 months
Compensation
• $38-$45/hr while on contract
• ($80,000 - $100,000 CAD) + equity once transitioned to full-time
