Hydro One is looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our team and help us deliver innovative solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for developing, configuring, testing, and maintaining applications and modules that meet business requirements and best practices. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and implement applications and modules utilizing Studio, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. - Configure and customize platform features, including workflows, forms, UI actions, business rules, client scripts, etc. - Facilitate system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers, web services, and more. - Address and resolve issues related to functionality, performance, and security. - Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality. - Document and maintain technical specifications, user guides, and development best practices. - Offer support and training to end users and administrators on platform features and functionalities. - Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in technology and related fields. Qualifications - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Over 5 years of experience in development and administration. - Certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD). - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. - Proven experience in application and module development and integration using Studio. - Expertise in configuring and customizing platform features like workflows, forms, UI actions, business rules, client scripts, etc. - Demonstrated ability in system integration using REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers, web services, etc. - Capability in troubleshooting and resolving functionality, performance, and security issues. - Experience in conducting unit, system, and user acceptance testing. - Familiarity with documenting and maintaining technical specifications, user guides, and development best practices. - Experience in providing support and training on platform features and functionalities. - Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices. - Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Jira. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring the contractor to be on-site two days per week (Monday and Wednesday) at the Acronym office.
