Product Manager, Product Strategy

Your new role at NewDay
An integral part of our dynamic team contributing to the development and enhancement of our credit card products. You will work closely with senior product managers across our credit card products (including Aqua, Marbles, Fluid, John Lewis and partners, Pulse and Bip) ensuring we deliver customer outcomes in line with NewDay’s manifesto and the brand values, whilst remaining relevant, competitive, commercially viable within the UK market.
You’ll deliver
• Communication of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap and show how it aligns to the overall business goals.
• Driving forward recommendations to optimise our products to deliver excellent customer outcomes, customer experience and commercial outcomes.
• Assisting in the end-to-end product development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, marketing, and sales.
• Conducting market research, competitive analysis, and stay abreast of industry trends to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
• Staying informed about UK financial regulations and ensure that all credit card products adhere to compliance requirements including Consumer Duty and Consumer Credit regulation.
• Fostering a collaborative and innovative culture within the product team and across the organization.
What You’ll Bring

• Problem solving capability, showing ability to devise solutions for business problems.
• Demonstrated success in contributing to the development and launch of financial products.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to drive informed decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various functions.

• The UK credit card market, including emerging trends and the regulatory environment.
• A solid understanding of the UK credit card market, customer behaviours, and preferences.
