Data Migration Test Specialist - Sydney
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Migration Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of data migration processes to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of transferred data.
• SQL Expertise: Utilize strong SQL skills to analyze and manipulate data, ensuring the integrity and consistency of migrated information.
• BFSI Domain Knowledge: Leverage domain expertise in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance to understand specific data requirements and industry standards for effective testing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful data migration outcomes.
• Test Planning and Execution: Develop test plans, test cases, and execute test scripts to validate data migration processes, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and issues encountered during the data migration testing process.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with stakeholders to convey testing progress, issues, and potential solutions.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Data Migration Test Specialist.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and manipulation.
• Experience in on on premise/hybrid to cloud data migration
• Prior experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain is highly desirable.
• Excellent understanding of data migration best practices and methodologies.
• Experience in test planning, test cases preparation, test execution, traceability matrix, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to work with business and technology stakeholders
• Previous experience in D365/Oracle data migration is a value ad
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Work location is Sydney with hyrbid working model
