£73,000 - £85,000 base plus 10% bonus plus equity options
One of the top global EdTechs is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its core engineering team, working on its bespoke Learning Management system.
The system is used by 10,000+ learners across the UK and US and offers an opportunity to work in a senior, autonomous team as the company continues to grow.
You would report to the Senior Engineering Manager for the Learning Management system with the client being around 750 people, with 150 in the engineering team, working in a lightweight kanban-like fashion.
The team runs with low levels of bureaucracy, with each Senior SWE taking projects in the direction they want.
Their software team is guided by 4 main principles:
They want to ship ideas quickly and measure the impact of their work - because time changes problems
They prioritise code quality and take pride in their craft - and the impact it has on their users
Defining what makes a Senior SWE 'Senior' is always tough, but applicants should have 5 years of professional experience as a SWE.
You'd be using React and Django (Python) daily along with GraphQL. Willingness to be in their London office around once per month
