Role Overview: The Senior Software Engineer specializing in MySQL Database Engineering will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale database systems. This role requires advanced knowledge in MySQL, including performance tuning, replication, and backup strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement efficient, scalable, and robust MySQL database solutions.
• Monitor database performance and tune the database for optimal efficiency.
• Develop and maintain replication and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate databases with other applications.
• Provide expertise in database design and architecture, working closely with stakeholders to understand data needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Extensive experience with MySQL databases.
• Strong understanding of database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with database replication and backup solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
