Senior QA Engineer (C++) London / Hybrid Full-time, permanent £60,000 - £70,000 + bonus + benefits Harrington Starr have partnered with a revolutionary FinTech who provide invaluable products to the global systematic trading community to hire a Senior QA Engineer. Joining their London HQ, This role would see the successful individual eventually take internal ownership of one of the firm's products in testing and dev terms. This new full-time, permanent position will offer the successful candidate the chance to work hands-on with software development and networking in tandem with their QA & Testing responsibilities. • Candidates must come from a Financial Services background (Ideally withing Trading), have demonstrable C++ language skills, networking skills and FIX knowledge.* Core Responsibilities • Contribute to the development of automated test tools, and continually improve the quality of releases on the full range of the company's comprehensive technical portfolio • Analyse define, and implement test cases to ensure thorough tests of our products • Become an expert in low-latency, high-performance software and hardware products • Learn to be SME of company products and provide technical support to a highly specialised client base • Involvement in pre-sales technical support • Maintain complete test coverage and meeting functional and non-functional requirements Qualifications • Demonstrable experience in a dedicated QA or Testing role involving some dev / programming (development experience can also be academic) • Knowledge of C++ is essential - Python knowledge is also highly advantageous • FIX knowledge • Working background in Financial Services or FinTech (Trading experience is desirable) • Test automation experience (Jenkins) • API testing knowledge • Knowledge of TCP Protocol would be an advantage, but not essential • Demonstrable knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines To apply for this Senior QA Engineer (C++) job opportunity simply click apply below.
