C++/Python Engineer - New Multi Strategy Hedge Fund
The Client
Our client is building a brand new multi strategy fund, with major plans for global expansion. They are hiring for the core C++ and Python cross-desk teams, with an open-minded mentality towards open-source technologies, agile methodologies, and hands-on flat structure engineering.
The Role
The position focuses heavily building trading systems and tooling in Python, to facilitate and maximize their exposure to systematic trading markets, across Fixed Income, FX, Commodities (FICC).
Senior Engineers will work closely with Traders and Quants to build bleeding-edge trading systems, focusing on a brand new firm-wide algorithmic trading engine, pricing and analytics tools and all of the infrastructure around this.
Required Qualifications
• Strong computer science fundamentals – in-depth knowledge of Python and ideally C++
• Strong computer science fundementals (e.g. data structures and algorithms)
• Minimum 4 years commercial engineering experience.
• Natural passion for clean code, SOLID principles and Best Practices (Test-Driven Development).
