Web Analyst Job type: Permanent Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 Location: Any RICS UK Office - We anticipate that this role can be performed with a hybrid working arrangement which balances working from home and the office. It is expected that regular attendance in the office will be required in line with business, department and team needs. Job Purpose: Responsible for the delivery of web/digital analysis to internal stakeholders to enhance our understanding of our audience behaviours across our digital properties. Working as a member of a small team of analysts and reporting to the Digital Analyst Team Lead to drive continuous improvement in data-driven decision-making and optimising our digital presence. Key Responsibilities • Use web/digital analysis to enhance our understanding of member experiences and drive data-driven decision-making • Manage the web/digital analytics process, from gathering stakeholder requirements, data collection, analysis, and sharing insights with relevant teams • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving member experiences through our digital channels and beyond • Mentor colleagues across RICS on best practices for web/digital analytics and insights, upskilling as needed • Input into an organisation-wide communication strategy to ensure web/digital analytics supports continuous development • Engaging key departments to ensure their active participation in the analytics process. • Collaborate with other sources of business insights and utilise them to provide a identify trends, causes of unusual traffic activity, and enable better predictions of audience behaviours Expected Outcomes • A fast, efficient, and always improving web/digital analytics process that serves the needs of the team and the wider organisation - This role will support the delivery of analytics through scheduled tasks and prioritised backlogs • Production of clear, comparative metrics which accurately reflect the digital experience across our core journeys and are communicated effectively to drive performance improvements • An internal champion for the importance of web/digital analytics in understanding user experiences and driving data-driven decision-making • Host playback sessions across the organisation to share the latest learning and educating colleagues on the latest methods, tools, and techniques • Active participant of a high-performing and motivated small team including continuous learning to enhance skills and stay up to date with the latest technologies and methodologies. Experience / Skills Required • 3+ years experience in web or digital analytics or similar role • 1+ years experience with Adobe Analytics • Strong understanding of other digital analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar and other web analytics platforms • A track record of identifying data trends and behaviours • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical • Demonstrable experience delivering complex analytics information to a non-technical audience through data visualisation and data storytelling • Good communicator with strong presentation skills • Understanding of Lean/Agile mindset, ideally with experience applying those principles in cross functional teams • Proven ability to build relationships between disciplines and foster collaboration, especially on distributed and remote teams • Hands-on experience of working with prioritised workloads as part of a team • Experience in packaging data to create actionable insight for design and change teams Who Are We?
