Overview The Project Manager will work on Federal contracts to oversee two to three teams comprised of cybersecurity and IT professionals. This person understands that communication is key to success and is an advocate for Agile, committed to open communications and transparency in nurturing high performing teams. The Project Manager will facilitate and provide direction for the project team, while acting as the client’s advocate to ensure the goals and objectives of the project are achieved successfully and on schedule. The perfect candidate is passionate about project/program management, an excellent communicator and has experience acting as a liaison with a variety of stakeholders including C-level executives, Subject Matter Experts, and Technical Team Members. Location: • Metro Jacksonville area • Hybrid work from home and Vaultes’ Ponte Vedra office. Occasional travel may be required to client site. • You must be legally authorized to work in the USA. Vaultes does not provide visa sponsorship. You must be able to pass and maintain a Public Trust security clearance. Responsibilities: • Organize and facilitate meetings including daily stand-ups, regular weekly and monthly client-facing meetings, and strategy sessions. • Ensure teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, team accountability, and ensuring the work is visible. • Track and remove blockers; coach the team on removing blockers. • Support the client and provide education where needed. • Address client’s concerns on issues of staff communication, performance, and conduct. • Brief leadership on project progress. • Prepare regular and ad-hoc project reports. • Create roadmaps and schedules for tasks and milestones. • Identify and manage project risks and measure of success. • Manage and facilitate positive relationships with the client and team. • Assist staff with training needs to continue skill expansion in support of current and future roles. • Support staff in day-to-day activities including planning, organizing work, and adjusting workloads. • Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Must Haves • Bachelor's Degree • Active PMP certification • Previous project/program management within the tech industry • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance is required • Facilitation skills in leading planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives • Excellent oral and written communications skills with proven track record interfacing with partners, clients, and other stakeholders is required • Highly skilled at driving initiatives through to completion • Detail-oriented and organized while working in a fast-paced environment • Self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement • Experience utilizing agile methodology • Experience developing documentation to help oversee and manage projects in support of project initiatives • Knowledge of IT systems and cybersecurity compliance Nice to Haves • Masters Degree • Experience working in cybersecurity • Minimum of 5 years of experience in GovCon Project Management • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Project Management • Experience working on a federal contract Perks and Benefits: • Competitive base salary • Paid time off • Paid holidays • Work-from-home opportunities • Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance • Company provided life insurance • Company provided short-term disability • 401k with matching incentive after one year of employment • Professional development opportunities Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Capable of operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, and frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers. This is a Full-Time, W2 position. Corp-to-Corp and 1099 ineligible.
