We are looking to hire a creative and enthusiastic Game Developer to develop exciting new games for our company. You will be responsible for developing HTML5 games based on the provided designs using game engines and JS libraries and fixing bugs prior to the final game release.
To ensure success as a game developer, you should have strong artistic skills, sound working knowledge of coding software, and be able to work as part of a team.
• *Responsibilities**
- Creating initial UI.
- Translating ideas into efficient code.
- Constructing the game base engine.
- Generating storyboards and game scripts.
- Contributing to audio and graphic design.
- Animating game characters and environment.
- Developing milestones and schedules.
- Creating game quality unit tests.
- Maintaining code and fixing game bugs.
- Creating game specifications and operating instructions.
• *Requirements and skills**
- Proven work experience completing a full game life-cycle.
- Minimum 5+ years of game developing experience for HTML5 games
- Excellent knowledge in OOP, TypeScript and NodeJS
- Proficiency in ReactJS/SSR or NextJS and state management solutions.
- Game engines and related libraries such as PixiJS, Phaser, ThreeJS, Cocos, Spine2D and
- Excellent knowledge of REST API and web sockets.
- Knowledge of the latest HTML5 gaming trends and technologies.
About the Role:
- Location: Dubai, Business Bay, Opus Tower
- Working Time: 10:00 to 7:00pm Monday to Saturday - Sundays off
