Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Head of IT, you shall be responsible to:
• Perform requirement analysis and impact assessment to existing AS400 systems.
• Develop and enhance programs for current insurance applications, aligning with standard programming practice.
• Implement solutions that align with the organization's business objectives.
• Work effectively with IT and business partners in various stages of system development life cycle.
• Provide production and operations support.
Job Requirements:
• A recognized Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant/ related qualification with at least 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience preferably in insurance industry.
• Work experience in COBOL is a must. CLP and/or API on AS400 is a plus.
• Working experience in SQL or QRY400.
• Knowledge of SMART400 in General Insurance application is a must.
• Clear communication & detailed documentation skills.
• Can work independently.
