Curriculum Lead, Software Development & Data Analysis As a Curriculum Lead for Software Development & Data Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in the development and quality assurance of apprenticeship curriculum standards, with a focus on levels 3 and 4. Working closely with our coaching and delivery teams, you will ensure that our educational programs meet the highest quality standards, align with industry regulations, and empower apprentices with the skills they need to succeed in the rapidly evolving fields of software development and data analytics. In this role, you will have a range of responsibilities, including curriculum design, quality assurance of the curriculum, and ensuring compliance with ESFA and Ofsted requirements. You will collaborate with industry experts, employers, apprentices, and regulatory bodies to continuously improve our curriculum. Your role also involves monitoring progress, meeting set completion rates, and aligning learners' planned end dates with organisational and funding requirements. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to): • Design, develop, and review curriculum materials, including lesson plans, learning activities, and assessments. • Ensure alignment of the curriculum with industry standards, regulations, and program objectives. • Meet the requirements of the ESFA, Ofsted, and other regulatory bodies. • Apply instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences. • Incorporate active learning strategies, technology, and relevant resources. • Collaborate with Training and Skills Coach teams to meet apprentice and employer expectations. • Stay current with evolving job roles and competencies by collaborating with industry experts. • Gather feedback and address concerns from employers, apprentices, and regulatory bodies. • Maintain curriculum development schedules. • Conduct Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities to ensure curriculum and resource quality. • Stay updated on industry trends, educational technology, and best practices. • Pursue professional development opportunities and certifications. • Identify and achieve targets for curriculum improvement and staff development. • Perform observations and develop action plans for coaching and training staff. • Support staff development and training plans to enhance curriculum planning, organisation, and delivery. Experience and Qualifications • Knowledge of Apprenticeships and ESFA / Government funding streams. • Excellent understanding of relevant Apprenticeship standards and delivery methods. • Excellent knowledge of the Apprenticeship Levy and Apprenticeship funding. • Good knowledge of equality and diversity, safeguarding, Prevent, and health and safety regulations. • Educated to degree level with subject specialisms in Software Development & Data Analysis. • Teaching qualification (PGCE or CertEd). • Experience as an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) - minimum of 1 year (desirable). • Experience in learner/employee progression is essential.
