You'll work alongside global and local multidisciplinary teams of Developers, Architects, Engineers, AI / ML Experts, and Analysts focused on the next generation of data and AI solutions.
You will employ creative thinking and collaboration as the foundation of your daily approach. Ideally, you'll possess knowledge of relational database management systems (including SQL) and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. You'll work across multiple operating systems (Linux, Unix, and Windows) and Cloud. You're passionate about technology and software. What You'll Do: Our database engine is comprised of many complex components such as indexing, data management, runtime interpreter, query compiler, optimizer, and AI/ML features. As a skilled software developer, you will contribute to developing and maintaining the query compiler and optimizer engine. Responsibilities will also include designing, coding, and unit testing of future enhancements as well as investigating and resolving function test, system test, and performance issues. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development
A minimum of 3 years of experience in C/C++ programming
A minimum of 1 year experience in programming with Python
Experience with Operating System Concepts (serialization, concurrency, multi-threading) and Data Structures (arrays, pointers, hash buckets)
Experience with SQL Databases (Db2, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc)
Experience with software development best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Demonstrated communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Technical and Professional Experience
Knowledge of and/or experience with database design and query optimization
Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning, including supervised machine learning and deep learning
Experience using Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems
Experience with sorting and hashing Computer Science Algorithms
Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub
