Direct the adoption of advanced analytics techniques & technologies to gather and synthesize various forms of data; Distill data insights to drive business success; Champion a data-driven decision-making culture and enable a customer centric business model to achieve customer growth, enhance customer journey and increase upsell & cross sell; Drive synergy among customer and channel data, from different business lines as well as various digital platforms to transform the business. Job Responsibilities • Spearhead the overall data analytics strategy - Lead the development of advanced business analytics through building the right processes, technology infrastructure and tools as well as people capabilities, in partner with the technology team. Champion data-driven decision making and drive integration of data insights into business processes. • Drive actionable data insights to deliver business results - through effective customer campaigns, customer life cycle management and robust tracking. Leverage relevant tools such as predictive modelling to enhance campaign effectiveness. • Direct our data strategy to maximize lead generation & conversion - Leverage data from various business lines such as life, general insurance, Group business and MPF. Drive synergy among customer and channel data as well as various digital platforms to deepen our share of wallet. • Foster a deep understanding of our customers via data insights - enable a customer centric business model, devise and monitor customer segmentation to support the advancement of customer propositions & initiatives. Partner with customer experience and operations teams on customer journey enhancement. • Advance data infrastructure, technologies and tools - as the business lead, partner with technology team to develop and ensure the readiness of our tech stack and enablers, such as, AI and machine learning, to keep up with ever-evolving data demands. Orchestrate use cases and drive adoption. • Be the data analytics focal point for Group office - manage internal stakeholders, external vendors and partners on strategic data analytics projects. • Ensure team is highly engaged, stay abreast of latest developments in data analytics - consistently delivers high performance through supervision, coaching, and providing challenging and developmental opportunities. Job Requirements • Degree holder in Computer Science, Decision Science, Mathematics, Econometrics, Actuarial Science, Marketing Analytics or Statistics • Master degree in relevant disciplines will be a plus • Minimum 15 years of working experience in data analytics • Minimum 8 years of experience in leading data analytics department • Proven record in driving and integrating customer and channel data analytics into business decision making • Sharp business acumen, strategic thinking and strong understanding on sales, marketing and operations in insurance industry • Excellent interpersonal skill and stakeholder management capabilities • Strong experience in leading a data team • Knowledge in latest trends of data analytics and infrastructure • Sound knowledge in SQL, SAS, R or Python • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese Prudential is an equal opportunity employer.
