Job Summary
Under general direction of the Information Technology Manager, the incumbent assists with the management of computer hardware and software, provides end user assistance, training and support where required, troubleshoots and resolves computer issues and maintains technical documentation. Incumbent will support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, business applications and other IT assets.
Duties And Responsibilities
• Installs and configures computer hardware and software.
• Installs and configures hardware and software components on Windows machines. 3.Provides technical support for end users in Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and other applications.
• Tests, maintains and troubleshoots end-user workstation hardware, software, peripheral devices, cabling and network.
• Configure, test, maintain and troubleshoot hand-help devices used for data access (iPads,Smartphones).
• Creates IDs, e-mail accounts, AD accounts, and other accounts that provide access to various systems inside the network.
• Assists with on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of network problems; gather and analyze data to diagnose problems with computer systems.
• Maintains anti-virus security solutions in compliance with Corporation standards.
• Installs anti-virus software.
• Performs system back-ups and recovery procedures as required to ensure full data retrieval.
• Assists with network improvements, upgrades and repairs as necessary.
• Troubleshoots hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoots printer/copier/fax machine hardware and software issues.
• Assists in the preparation of the annual Corporation budget as it pertains to information technology needs for the upcoming year.
• Manages onsite inventory and total life cycle of IT assets.
• Collaborates with vendors and service providers to address technical problems and escalate issues when necessary.
• Prepares Requests to Purchase orders and routes for signatures.
• Coordinates with staff on specialized technology training.
• Provides exemplary staff support services.
• Utilizes a help desk ticketing system to track issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Ability to:
• Provide technical support to staff regarding hardware and software issues, assisting with problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Respond to staff service requests timely and effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to Office 365, printers, scanners, laptops, networks.
• Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including updates, patches and backups to ensure system stability and data integrity.
• Identify information technology issues and opportunities, analyze problems and alternatives and develop sound conclusions and recommendations.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. 7.Ensure accurate technical documentation and timely task completion.
• Effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with staff and vendors.
• Troubleshoot on hardware, software and communications problems.
• Prepare clear, concise and accurate reports and other materials.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Exercise sound expert independent judgment within general guidelines.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, employees, consultants, vendors and others encountered in the course of work.
Knowledge of:
• Principles, practices and techniques of information systems management, including applications design, hardware and software options for business and operations applications and the cost benefit of systems alternatives.

• Network administration and troubleshooting.
• Routers, switches and firewall technologies.
• Network security principles and best practices, data privacy and protection.
• Operating principles, parameters, methods, practices and limitations of computer platforms, related peripheral equipment and communications networks.
• Principles and practices of database design and administration.
• Web applications (familiarity with WordPress a plus).
• Methods and techniques of project management as applied to computer systems development and installation.
• Systems analysis methods and techniques.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems, email systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Education: A high school diploma or GED. Computer-related college coursework is preferred. Special consideration may be given for holding Cisco and/or Microsoft certifications related to the position.
Experience: At least three (3) years of professional related experience.
