Position: SharePoint Business Analyst - Functional Business Analysis
Responsibilities:
As a SharePoint Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our SharePoint migration project. Your role is focused around engagement from technical stakeholders, vendors and relevant stakeholders across the organisation. predominately functional as well as assisting the relevant technical staff. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Functional Business Analysis:
Conducting in-depth analysis of business processes, requirements, and objectives to inform SharePoint migration strategies.
Collaborating with key stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
Solution Design and Documentation:
Translating business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
Collaborating with technical teams to design SharePoint solutions that align with business needs.
Data Mapping and Migration:
Assessing existing data structures and collaborating with data migration teams to define mapping and transformation requirements.
Ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
User Training and Support:
Developing and delivering training materials for end-users.
Providing ongoing support to end-users during the migration process.
Quality Assurance:
Conducting thorough testing of SharePoint solutions to ensure functionality meets business requirements.
Identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies throughout the migration lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on SharePoint projects.
Strong understanding of SharePoint Online, functionality, and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with data migration processes and tools.
