AccountExecutive is a pivotal role to ensuring ServiceNows continuedgrowth In this role you will identify new business by strategicallynavigating a targeted set of prospective accounts to close initialopportunities and convert our Prospects to Customers who will growwith us for years to come By deeply understanding their uniquecompany challenges and goals you will pair them with solutions thatwill help them reach their business objectives and blaze new trailswithin their organizations You play a critical part in our DESCOgotomarket strategy and you will be set up for success within afast paced collaborative and inclusive culture You are a selfstarter and an innovator You will establishrelationships within a defined set of accounts to achieve net newrevenue growth targets for your given territory By leveraginganalytics case studies past performance and market intelligence youwill create a territory plan and craft your own target accountstrategies You will then apply these strategies and leverage yourextended sales team and partner ecosystem to sell the value andlongterm ROI of one or more of our industry leadingsolutions Postsale you will lead inorchestrating the customers strategic growth planstechnology footprint and corresponding technology strategy internalchallenges and competitive landscape Review public information (egnew executive appointments earnings statements press releases) forthe company and its competitors to remain updated on key industrytrends and issues impacting the prospect • Advance and close sales opportunities through the successfulexecution of the sales strategy and roadmap • Account Transition After successfully closing your initial sale youwill orchestrate the transition of the account to our AccountManagement team • Net New Revenue Execute onnew business revenue goals for the organization Qualifications To be successful in this role youhave • Proven track recordof new logo sales experience in IT Service Management HR SecurityOperations Customer Service IT Operations Management (withinsoftware or IT sales organizations) and/or Management Consultingwith a demonstrated ability to generate new business at newaccounts • Demonstrated experience in territorystrategy planning and sales execution with measurablewins • Ability to understand broad macrolevelbusiness IT needs for a prospective client • Ability to break down a complex sales process into discreteactivities and see steps ahead to deliver customeroutcomes • Excellent interpersonal skills toinspire and lead a matrix team to establish trust and credibilitywith prospective customers • Demonstratedperseverance resilience and savvy to find new creative paths toopen doors increase interaction and participation and engageprospects • The PreferredQualifications • Degree orequivalent relevant experience required Experience will beevaluated based on the core competencies for the role and othertransferable qualifications / experience • Extensive experience of quota carrying technology solutionbaseddirect sales experience penetrating net new accounts within aterritory • Strong sales strategy skills anddemonstrated experience prospecting and bringing in newbusiness • Experience and success selling avariety of SaaS solutions across all lines of business • Demonstrated experience in keeping accurate forecastyour territory monthly/quarterly/annually utilizing sales tools andanalytics to target customers with higher propensity to buy andcreating strategies that maximize success • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced
