JD: 5+ years of production support experience managing physical network infrastructure
• Familiarity with Cumulus, Juniper, Dell and Cisco devices and operating systems
• Expert in both traditional core and newer leaf and spine type networks
• 3+ yrs. of experience in managing Azure resources like Virtual Machine, Azure
• platforms, subscriptions, networks (E.g., express route), Identity management, DNS, Azure Active Directory, etc.
• On-Call Rotations occasional (Ex. Circuit Related Problem after hours (will need to be available to remote in and address issue).
• Provide design and implementation support for a network consisting of a traditional core alongside a growing leaf and spine network.
• Hardware replacements / upgrades
• OS upgrades
• Network configuration changes o NAT updates
• ACL updates etc.
• Configuration Automation o Ansible Scripts
• Manage our AS and BGP peering with our ISP transit providers, including Azure Express Routes and AWS Direct Connects
• Traditional egress circuits o Point to Point links.
• Cloud connections (ExpressRoute / Direct Connects)
• Ensure effective monitoring of all network infrastructure.
• Provide support for compliance related activities.
