We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team. As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's databases. Your expertise in database design, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts will be crucial in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our data management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing database solutions that meet business requirements
- Developing and maintaining database structures, tables, views, and functions
- Writing efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
- Collaborating with software developers to integrate databases with applications
- Troubleshooting database issues and performance bottlenecks
- Ensuring data security and integrity through proper backup and recovery procedures
- Conducting regular database performance tuning and optimization

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of database design principles and data modeling techniques
- Proficiency in SQL programming and query optimization
- Experience with database development tools such as SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies
- Ability to write complex PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation and transformation
- Knowledge of Linux operating system for managing database servers
- Experience with Java programming language for database application development
- Familiarity with server administration tasks such as installation, configuration, and maintenance
