**SUMMARY OF REQUIRED SKILLS**:
Must be able to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and
electronic data processing; to develop and implement its policies and procedures. Meet with other
department managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. Must be
primarily responsible for the company’s current IT systems, software and networks and control the
computer systems budgets and expenditures. Should be able to advice on change in technologies and
systems currently used in order to accomplish the required progressive results in IT Department. Must
be familiar with the prevailing hardware and software, must be able to suggest the most viable IT
solution for a given environment and the related functional area.
• *ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- To Manage the IT Department totally and control the procurements initiated by the
department.
- Cost control and management of IT scope.
- Managing the ERP system and its effective implementation.
- Responsible for the ‘Smart Payment’ and ‘Tower Metering’ systems implemented.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer
systems operation and development.
- Prepare budget for the department and monitor expenditures as per the approved budget.
- Provide training on the existing systems/programs used to the required staff about new and
potential use.
- Advise the management on levels of access for the softwares in use.
- Effectively maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software, PCs,
IPADs, Laptops, Printers and all other IT related office machines.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating systems.
- Provide network accounts and passwords as required. Monitor system security of all IT
technologies used.
- Ensure proper installation and usage of all programs.
- Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate.
- Perform all other IT related duties as required during working hours.
- Manage ever blue systems and hosts for control room.
- Manage smart payment system and host system for control room.
- ETISALAT mobile lines and data cost saving.
- Set up and maintain the payroll and time attendance machine cycle. Integration with the ERP
systems to be successfully implemented and effective reporting systems to be established.
- Constructing and Managing social media pages and company web site.
- Call center management and staff control.
- Control of manuals and related documentations of softwires and hardware, timely updation of systems and literatures from vendors.
- Control room integration with SNG Systems.
- Management of GPS tracking systems.
- Ensure implementation of management initiatives and policies.
