**IT Administrator**
• *Purpose**
To ensure that current IT systems are working well and support the strategy and business objectives and to make suggestions for improvements and innovative use of technology to help achieve the vision and mission of the organization.
• *Responsibilities (include but not limited to)**:
- Ensure all employees have the relevant hardware and software for their roles and prepare the required IT resources for new joiners.
- Provide office 365 support
- Assign the correct level of access to each user.
- Manage storage requirements by monitoring usage levels and informing the team when they are approaching critical levels so that housekeeping and archiving can be conducted.
- Ensuring all systems are updated when required.
- Ensuring there are adequate back-ups and recovery plans in place.
- Making recommendations as to when new systems and technology will be of business benefit.
- Obtaining quotes and negotiations with various potential suppliers.
Monitoring the agreed security systems (Firewalls etc.).
- Making sure we are using the current and most effective anti-virus solutions.
- Monitoring and maintaining the CCTV and the access control systems.
- Manage the PABX system from a technology standpoint.
- Assistance with preparation of presentations
- Make recommendations to management to ensure that IT usage policies maximise security and efficiency.
- Other duties from time to time.
• *Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an IT discipline
- The ability to think logically
- Good knowledge of how software and operating systems work
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends
- Excellent listening and questioning skills combined with the ability to interact confidently with staff to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
• *Salary**: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
