Our client, a leader in the health industry, is looking for a Database Specialist starting ASAP for a short term contract with the potential to extend
They have 5 different kinds of databases in use. They are:
Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, AWS Aurora, RedShift.
They are using database accounts to allow end users to access the data from the database. They are looking for single sign on to login into the databases.
They try to leverage AD (CIHI main AD in azure cloud and AWS Managed AD work together ) to manage all access to the Databases ( different database type Oracle on EC2, RDS Oracle/MySQL, Aurora, Redshift etc ) via different interface ( Standard SQL Tools, Python, SAS,
Tomcat etc ),

- 5 + years Database experience with ORACLE DBMS, MS SQL Server, MySQL,
- 5+ years Postgres, Redshift, Ec2
- 3 plus years experience with SQL, Unix shell scripting, Command Line Interface,
- 3 years experience with Python, R, SAS, jBoss
