Good morning LinkedIn. One of my most stable clients is looking to add a full time, direct hire Back End focused Senior Software Engineer. As a Back End Senior Software Engineer, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying high-quality software. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver software products that provide value to their customers. Your expertise and experience will be used to lead the development of complex applications and software systems, while also mentoring and guiding other engineers across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transform and architect backend development strategy for the engineering department.
• Develop and maintain backend systems and platforms that are highly redundant, reliable, and fast.
• Find solutions to business needs by working with stakeholders, business units, and customers.
• Make key technical decisions that influence engineering teams to build or select the right technologies and tools that fulfill the needs of the business.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers to support key development.
• Work closely with engineers and product managers to deliver optimal solutions.
Required qualifications:
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a record of leading large, complex projects.
• Experience building backend systems and APIs.
• Experience with technologies (e.g., Python, .NET, etc.).
• Experience delivering high-quality products.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in setting technical direction.
• Experience in implementing and/or building long-lasting frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing including end-to-end and unit tests.
