Responsibilities
• Leads the activities of DevOps practicesjointly with software engineers to provide automated tooling toempower our Product Development teams to rapidly build deliver andsupport new features holding organizing scaling Application anddeployment configurations Templates they also play a mentorshiprole for other engineers and drive outcomes that fulfill ourmission of developer enablement.
• Installationconfiguration testing deployment monitoring and maintenance oftools in use by development teams including but not limited toSource Code Management (GIT Azure SVN) Analysis Tools Compilers andDebuggers Build acceleration Continuous Delivery
• Drive Continuous Integration (CI) improvements toautomate service/system integration and testing methods.
• Drive Continuous Deployment (CD) improvementsto automate high availability release and rollback methods.
• Use relevant experience to steer improvementsto automated monitoring and alerting systems which support ourbusiness Service Level Integrations SLIs and Service LevelOperations SLOs
• Mentor other engineers tocreate a culture of DevOpsminded development throughout the team.
• Automate responses for recurring problems.
• Building frameworks for software andapplication deployment.
• Building platformenvironments to support autoscaling for the business in the future.
