A. Basic Scope of Work:
• Application support for .NET applications.
B. Accountabilities:
• Support operationally large scale .Net application for meeting defined SLAs.
• Design, develop, code and debug software systems, or applications for software as when needed.
• Collaborate with developers, interaction and visual designers, and business stakeholders to deliver responsive user experiences on schedule.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable operational automation process and code.
• Responsible to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Practice Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Have the drive and passion to ensure consistent end-to-end user experience.
• Skills
C. Qualification:
• Proficient in .NET/.NET Core, C#, Microsoft SQL Server & IIS with a good knowledge of their ecosystems.
• Good knowledge of WCF.
• Good knowledge of SOAP UI Postman.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL Server.
• Knowledge of oracle is a plus.
• Good understanding of monitoring tools – Dynatrace.
• Good to have understand of DevOps tools – Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible.
• Strong understanding of support processes with SLAs, ERT, ORT.
• Ability to triage and publish RCAs for scalable systems issues.
• Understand of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with popular web application frameworks –Angular would be added advantage.
• Understand of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application.
• Contribute to Automation and Operational Excellence efforts.
• Ability to coordinate with Infrastructure support teams and get things done.
• Should be familiar with concepts such as Container services, Lambda Expressions, IAM, networking.
• Flexible to working hours/Willing to work in a 24*5 profile with weekend on-call support.
D. Experience:
• 3+/- years developing and maintaining web-based applications.
E. Education and Certification:
• Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Technology or related stream.
• SQL Database Administration Certification.
