Description :
We are seeking a talented PostgreSQL SQL Database Administrator/Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and developing PostgreSQL databases to ensure maximum performance, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
• Perform regular database monitoring, maintenance, and tuning to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
• Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
• Stay current with PostgreSQL features, trends, and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator/Developer.
• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, administration, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in SQL programming and database design principles.
• Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and replication.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PostgreSQL Certified Engineer) are a plus.
