About the Project & Opportunity:
Acciona has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Singleton Bypass. This major project will see construction of 8km of single lane highway with 7 bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. This diverse and challenging project has a 2.5year program ensuring longevity in your role and presenting opportunities to grow within the business.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for:
• Implementing the Quality Management Plan on site
• Assist in preparation and close out of work packs
• Review subcontractors' QA/QC deliverables
• Ensure surveillance, hold and witness inspections are conducted and signed off as per subcontractors' ITP's
• Review subcontractors' inspection and test records
• Review subcontractors' As-Built documentation including redline markups and MDR's
• Prepare weekly QC reports
Competencies we are after:
• Experience in the construction industry and project work
• Knowledge and solid understanding of ISO 9001:2008 requirements
• Relevant recognised qualification
