Database Developer - Postgres, Golang, Go, PostgreSQL
Description for the Database Developer (Postgres) role:- One of the fastest growing Fintec's with deep pockets that operate in the world of Digital assets seek a Database Developer (Postgres, Golang). You will love working with Postgres and challenging database problems and will be working on high throughput transactional databases writing PL/pgSQL procedures and functions. As a Database/Golang Engineer, you should be passionate about performance and will have the opportunity to work with a modern technology stack and help solve high impact problems.
The role will be hybrid and you will be able to work from home 2 days a week.
Experience required for the Database Developer (Postgres, Golang) role:-
• Extensive Postgres Experience (Several years) and a strong background in another database (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase).
• Golang experience.
• Experience with managed Postgres providers
• No downtime migrations scripts for large databases.
• Strong knowledge of database indexes.
• Experience in a financial environment.
Salary for the Database Developer role (Postgres, Golang) will be £100,000 to £130,000 dependent on experience + bonus + an excellent benefits package.
