An AI Business Informatics Intern will be responsible for supporting our Corporate Finance and IT Innovation teams projects relating to AI innovation and implementation within the business, evaluating proposal and test cases for funding, and performing key analysis to make a meaningful impact to the overall business strategy. This is an opportunity to do innovative work that will provide real-world experience, with their work contributing our company’s mission to elevate whole health and advance health beyond healthcare.
The Elevance Health Summer Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience designed to provide students with real-life, challenging project work, improve business acumen, provide exposure to senior and executive leadership, and the opportunity to learn more about the healthcare industry! Interns will participate in career and professional development activities and networking events with other interns and associates.

How you will make an impact:
• Support AI Data analysts on complex projects that synergize between several IT and Finance teams.
• Determine if specific business applications meet software requirements to address complex and varied business needs.
• Analyze and design solutions to address complex and varied business needs within the Finance sector.
• Consult and collaborate with business partners concerning AI applications and implementation strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
• Actively pursuing a BA/BS degree in Business Informatics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing, or related degree at an accredited college or university.
• Ability to work the hours set forth by the Summer Internship Program, 40 hours per week
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S., without future visa sponsorship requirements
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
