This role as Technical Lead is to assume a pivotal role in steering the technological direction and ensuring the seamless operation of financial systems within the organisation.
This entails leveraging technical prowess, strategic vision, and strong leadership to facilitate the development, enhancement, and maintenance of system solutions that underpin the financial functions of the company.
The main goal is to align these systems with the financial objectives and regulatory compliance requirements, thereby contributing to its overall success.
This new role covers a wide range of responsibilities such as :
• Lead the technical design and input for Oracle Financials solution in close liaison with Solution and Enterprise Architects.
• Guide technical decisions in line with the Strategic and Product Roadmap.
• Collaborate effectively across teams to remove technical roadblocks and support delivery decision making.
• Ensure that delivery of changes and / or incident fixes adhere to established governance and adopted practices within the bank.
• Providing support and guidance to the Oracle support team during production incidents.
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes and standards.
• Contribute to a high performing and engaging team environment.
• Drive a culture of critical thinking and innovation across the teams.
• Coach and mentor engineers to improve their engineering capabilities and embed good practices.
• Develop a highly collaborative working relationship with delivery teams and their stakeholders.
• Demonstrate an understanding of risk frameworks and promote visibility of potential operational / technical risks.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure System Health Assessments, DR activities, and other risk mitigation activities are completed on time and as per the standard.
• Ensure compliance to corporate and governance standards and escalate potential breaches to the leader.
To be considered for this role you will need the following skills / experience :
• 5+ years of combined technical experience in Oracle EBS (R12+) and Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP & EPM products (Mandatory).
• 2+ years in technical lead role (Highly Desired)
• Experience in Aptitude AICE and AAH functional understanding (Highly Desired)
• Experience in Pentaho ETL and Ctrl-M MFT configuration (Desired)
• Good understanding of Finance, accounting operations and planning and budgeting (Desired)
