Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director to join our team! In this role, you will get to Provide direction and management for every phase of project fit-out, snagging, handover, testing and commissioning, and other related requirements to ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. You will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, and contemporary residences in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living. What You'll Be Doing: • Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution. • Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors. • Collaborates with Business Development to market and secure additional work with client. • Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project. • Participates in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients. • Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required. • Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria. What Required Skills You'll Bring: • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction related field • Minimum 20 years experience • Experience leading major programs • Expertise in leading major international Resort Development projects of large-scale • Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project. • Ensures that the project meets or exceeds the goals established in these plans. • Works with the key project individual to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. • Advises the client and company management of any such changes. • Excellent leadership and communication skills • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations. • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
