IT Project Assistant (at the rank of IT Technician / Senior IT Assistant) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 524098) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year’s full-time work experience, preferably in project management. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, IT proficiency, effective organizational and communication skills, the ability to work independently, self-motivation and a strong sense of responsibility. Those with lower qualification and/or less experience may be considered for appointment at the rank of Senior IT Assistant.
The appointee will assist in both software and infrastructural project planning, preparation and execution. He/She will liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers; draft user guides, UAT test plans, technical specifications, progress reports and tender / procurement documents; and perform other duties as assigned.
