As a member of our Research and Development team specializing in ML/AI, you will be tasked with crafting a groundbreaking machine learning model tailored to seamlessly integrate with our suite of products, delivering users with invaluable insights, solutions, and predictions. Your role will involve close collaboration with multifunctional teams to conceptualize, construct, and implement machine learning models, algorithms, and software components, fostering data-driven decision-making and enhancing product performance.
The ideal applicant possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, demonstrating a track record of conceptualizing, developing, and successfully deploying production-grade machine learning models from inception. Proficiency in data collection and analysis, statistics, and programming is paramount. Exceptional communication skills are essential, enabling effective interaction across the organization to elicit requirements and articulate ML/AI solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Creativity, innovation, and strong problem-solving skills round out the qualities we seek.
Key Responsibilities
• Conceive, develop, and optimize ML algorithms and models to offer predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, energy efficiency, and other pertinent features.
• Preprocess and cleanse extensive datasets to extract meaningful insights and features for ML models, conducting exploratory data analysis to unveil patterns, trends, and potential enhancements.
• Train ML models, assess model performance, iterate on models, and fine-tune parameters to attain optimal results.
• Integrate ML models seamlessly into existing products, collaborating with the software team to ensure the smooth deployment and integration of AI-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with overarching business goals.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as an ML/AI Engineer.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing ML models from the ground up.
• Proficient in statistics, data analysis, and spreadsheet tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services for model deployment and management.
